Tree Removal
Trees are removed for many reasons including root issues, diseased, death, or overgrowth. If you’re not sure if your tree needs to be removed, we can help! Our experts will advise you on the best course of action.
Stump Grinding
In stump grinding, the tree stump is ground out below ground, so soil can be spread back into the hole. We have the ability to remove a wide range of stump sizes.
Tree Trimming
Tree trimming is very important to the health of trees. Removing dead or dying branches prevents insects from entering the tree and pruning prevents potential damage from storms or high winds.
Chipping
Chipping allows us to efficiently remove limbs and branches from a project site, Once chipped, branches can be removed with a truck.
Tree Climbing
For the hard to reach areas, we offer tree climbing services. Pieces of the tree are cut one by one and are slowly roped down to the ground.

Emerald Ash Borer Treatments
The Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) is an invasive pest that will kill any untreated ash trees. Avoiding treatment of an EAB outbreak will leave you without trees on your property. Treat your trees with our Arborjet® Tree Injection Method for up to two years of proven control of EAB. Unlike spraying or soil drenching which put chemicals in the air and ground, Arborjet’s injection puts all product inside the tree during application. If your tree has symptoms, it’s not too late!

Bear Bowles
As a locally owned company, Bear’s Tree Service has been serving the Fargo-Moorhead area for over 10 years. Our owner, Bear Bowles, started with one stump grinder and has over time grown the business to offer clients a wide range of tree removal and maintenance services. We are licensed, bonded, insured, and our team is educated in proper roping and pruning techniques. We take great care to ensure we meet our customer’s expectations with each job.
